Before deeper healing can begin we need to clear the core systemic blocks that trap your body in a state of chronic stress, pain, or depletion. By blending the immediate, simultaneous feedback of pulse diagnosis and abdominal touch with the streamlined herbal architecture of the Shang Han Lun, we systematically evaluate and restore five foundational systems. We choose a standard of clinical minimalism—achieving the profoundest structural and metabolic shifts through the softest, simplest means possible.
The Issue: Fixed, stubborn pain, old injuries that won't fully heal, and inflammation.
The Solution: We check for localized poor circulation (vascular stagnation). By releasing specific blocks, we clear out cellular waste and flood the area with fresh, oxygenated blood so your tissues can finally repair.
The Issue: Low-grade exhaustion, brain fog, chronic allergies, or feeling physically "on guard."
The Solution: Immune issues are often tied to fluid stagnation. By clearing fluid congestion around your core, we drain deep lymphatic buildup. This settles your overstimulated nervous system and restores a quiet, resilient defense.
The Issue: Bloating, reflux, food sensitivities, or feeling like your food just sits heavily in your stomach.
The Solution: Stress and poor digestion cause the upper and middle abdomen to physically tighten up and lock down. We find those exact spots of tension and use a few gentle points to soften the entire area. The moment that hidden tightness melts, your digestive rhythm resets—allowing your body to easily absorb food and rebuild your daily energy.
The Issue: Total exhaustion, waking up wired at 3:00 AM, anxiety, or relying entirely on caffeine.
The Solution: This is your body's central battery. When stress runs you dry, your lower back and abdomen lose their strength. We use restorative points to shift your nervous system out of "fight-or-flight" and back into deep, restful recovery.
The Issue: Migraines, physical tension along your sides (neck, ribs, and hips), and feeling emotionally or physically stuck.
The Solution: This system acts as your body's structural pivot. When it jams, tension locks up your joints and frames. We release these side lines to let fluids, nerve signals, and blood flow move freely again.
Medicine should not force the body into submission. It listens until the body reveals its own path to healing.
My practice is built on clinical elegance, simplicity, and immediate feedback. In a world where healthcare often feels overwhelming and filled with guesswork, I choose a different standard: achieving the deepest shifts through the softest, simplest means possible.
By listening to the live feedback of your pulse and abdomen, I work to find the single, correct connection that holds the key to your whole pattern. I use only a few, targeted needles to remove blockages and bring systems into harmony. The moment that hidden tension softens under my hands, your nervous system relaxes, allowing your body to gently pivot back into balance.
I have been in practice for nearly twenty years, graduating in 2007 with my certifications in acupuncture and Chinese herbalism.
Alongside my private clinical practice, I serve as the Assistant Director of the clinic and clinical program at the Colorado Chinese Medicine University (CCMU). In this Master’s level program, I regularly teach clinical classes and supervise students during their clinical internships.
While my academic work is rooted in standard university training for Chinese Medicine, my private practice focuses on the quieter, hands-on arts of pulse reading, abdominal touch, Japanese style minimalist needling and simple classical formulas.
